Lyrikweg Walking Tour:
Come and discover the countryside together! We’ll go for a walk and explore nature. Along the way, we’ll encounter different species of birds and fossils, a river, and trees that are centuries old. Poems and stories will accompany us. They’re by Annette Droste-Hülshoff and by contemporary writers. We’ll listen and observe. We’ll get to know the landscape as it was in the past and as it is today.
This event is part of our Education for Sustainable Development programme.
The Lyrikweg (Poetry Path) connects two Droste sites: Hülshoff Castle and the Rüschhaus. The walking tours explore part of the trail. Together with our guide, you will explore the first 5 stops on the Poetry Trail. The tour is approximately 4 kilometres long. Afterwards, we invite you to enjoy a complimentary drink (coffee or a cold drink) at the Café-Restaurant DROSTE 1797.
Price per person: €21 standard / €10.50 reduced*
Duration: approx. 90 minutes

This event can be booked with a minimum of 5 participants.
In the event of a severe weather warning, we will cancel the tour up to 2 days in advance.
Lyrikweg + Picnic: Grab one of our prepared picnic baskets and relax on the lawn after the tour! Available at Hülshoff Castle and the Rüschhaus.
Lyrikweg+ Tea Time: Book the tea house before or after the tour. We’ll provide you with sparkling wine, English tea, scones and cucumber sandwiches. Ideal for groups of 8–16 people!
